A graduate of the Department of Obstetrics in Athens, she did her internship at the Alexandra Hospital and worked voluntarily for three years at the gynecological clinic of the Municipality of Athens. In parallel with the above studies, she was also certified as a dance teacher by the professional dance school "Niki Kontaxakis". Then, expanding her educational framework, she found herself in Copenhagen where, among other things, she attended seminars on the preparation of couples for childbirth and the postpartum period, was trained in breastfeeding counseling (Copenhagen Lactation), was certified in pregnancy dance therapy (DanseHallerne) but also in pregnancy and postpartum yoga (The yoga flat, DK). She then collaborated as a midwife with the Moderliv obstetric center and as a pregnancy dance therapist with the Sceneindgangen dance studio. After returning to Greece, she attended the 200h yoga alliance RYS, Aerialife aerial yoga TT training programs as well as programs related to the preparation and rehabilitation of the pelvic floor muscles and codified in her own way the preparation and rehabilitation from childbirth. She then became certified by the Lifelong Learning Center of PADA by attending the programs “Perinatal Mental Disorders and Domestic Violence. Counseling and Perinatal Education.” and «Specialized Training in Breastfeeding Counseling and Support». Collaborating with private doctors, obstetric care centers and all private maternity hospitals, she has remained active in the field of obstetrics for the last ten years.
It collaborates with the private maternity hospitals Iaso, Mitera, Leto and Rea.

Prenatal yoga
A yoga class perfectly adapted to the needs of a pregnant woman from the very first day until the day of delivery!
Respecting the special demands of this period, we have considered a practice capable of training and completely preparing the body for childbirth, relieving it of any possible discomfort!
The practice is suitable for any gestational age and focuses on stretching and breathing exercises that can properly prepare you for your upcoming birth! The combination of exercises and breathing will help you better adapt to the physical changes of pregnancy, will help you control your weight gain, will act as a preventive measure for edema and will also improve the quality of sleep and your mood. Some of the exercises that we will apply can also be applied during labor, significantly reducing the duration of the first stage and increasing the chances of achieving a normal birth.
