Kannavos Georgios
Giorgos Kanavos graduated from the Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2002 with an Honors degree. He specialized initially at the Hematology Department of the 3rd University Pathology Clinic of the Athens General Hospital "I Sotiria", and then at the Hematology Laboratory and Hematology Clinic of the Athens General Hospital "G. Births". He received his Hematology Medical Specialty title in April 2012 and continued to work in the same clinic until the end of the same year.
Since January 2013, he has been working as the Director of the Hematology Laboratory and the Coagulation-Hemostasis/Blood Donation Department at the "REA" Gynecology-Obstetrics Clinic, located in Paleo Faliro, while at the same time, he maintains a private practice in a central area of Athens.
Provides General Hematology services, as well as specialized services regarding Thromboembolic Disease, Thrombophilia conditions (hereditary and acquired) and Pregnancy Hematology (checking and treatment of hematological causes of frequent miscarriages, anemia and thrombocytopenia during pregnancy, treatment of alloimmune conditions of the fetus/ newborn, treatment of bleeding during childbirth, treatment of hematological malignancies during pregnancy)
